I am currently a mathematics teacher and K12 Mathematics Chairperson at Bayport-Blue Point High School. I received a B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics and a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Miami University of Ohio in 1998. While teaching at Bayport-Blue Point High School, I earned a M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University in 2002. I earned School Building Level and School District Level Administrative Certifications from Dowling College in 2011 and 2013, respectively.
I am currently teaching an introduction to computer science course modeled after Harvard University's CS50 class. This course has a dedicated web site.
I am the head coach of the Varsity football team and the boys Varsity winter track team.
I also serve as a part time adjunct professor for Suffolk Community College. As an adjunct I have taught computer based algebra classes as well as introductory level statistics classes.
